How would you account for women asked to cover their heads in 1 Corinthians 11:2-16? Why is such a misogynistic statement not removed from the Holy Bible yet? Does the church support this statement?
In Rom 16:1 and 16:7, St. Paul introduces Phoebe, a woman deacon and Junia, an apostle. If there were women priests in the early Catholic Church, why not allow women priesthood now?
Girls are asked to wear shawls in church which someone told me that was because Holy Mary wore it. But isn’t this an old tradition? We do not see this followed in other countries?
