If idol worship is not allowed, then why do we adore the Blessed Sacrament?

Idol worship is offering worship due to the almighty God to others eg. persons, objects, concepts etc. Blessed sacrament, is the real presence of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Godhead. Hence adoring the blessed sacrament is not idol worship but proper worship.
